LinkedIn for Legal - The LEVEL UP

For ambitious leaders in legal ready to raise the bar and take your online presence to the next level

You’re already sold on the power of Linkedin.

You’ve got a personal brand strategy in place and you’re showing up online... but you also know that you could be using the platform in a more powerful way.

You’re constantly wondering:

HOW does the algorithm actually work?

WHAT features do I need to know about?

WHY do some posts fly and some flop?

I have the answers to ALL of those questions (and more) but first let me tell you a story.

As a legal marketer, LinkedIn was central to me:

Scaling a pioneering NewLaw start-up law firm to exit

Generating consistent leads for my very own legal marketing businesses

Growing a global community of 5000 women driving change in the legal industry

LinkedIn has such power and potential to change the game for your legal business or law firm - whether you’re a leader, a founder or anything in between.

I’ve been building brands and businesses on Linkedin for over 18 years. I’ve felt the confusion and the overwhelm too. I’ve tried, tested and learnt from every single feature and functionality that the platform has to offer.

But don’t just take my word for it:

“Helen understands the challenges of SMS (social media squeamishness ) and helped us navigate it in a structured, clear and practical fashion. I would thoroughly recommend working with Helen if you need clarity and guidance on improving your use, understanding and confidence with LinkedIn”

Linkedin for Legal: The LEVEL UP is perfect for:

Law firm leaders & senior lawyers looking to grow your authority and influence

Legal founders & consultants wanting to grow your practice through LinkedIn

In-house marketing teams eager to power up your firm’s LinkedIn marketing tactics

Legal teams committed to taking their personal brands to the next level

My sizzlingly special sauce? Lashings of legal industry expertise, spoonfuls of platform knowledge and a sprinkle of marketing magic.

Oh, and a bonus infusion of enthusiasm and empathy.

Because showing up on Linkedin requires persistence, resilience, consistency and curiosity. But long-term Linkedin success is about navigating all that the platform has to offer and understanding how to stay abreast of the inner workings of the dreaded algorithm.

And that is where my very own 18 years of Linkedin experience comes in.

Linkedin is THE social media platform for business lawyers, with over 1 billion users, 70% of whom are responsible for buying decisions.

Having a strategic presence on LinkedIn is no longer nice-to-have. It’s a business-critical opportunity.

Which for you means refining your approach by understanding why and how the platform works the way it does.

It's about:

Having an optimised content strategy

Working with the algorithm rather than against it

Making every feature and function work hard for you

This is your opportunity to get under the bonnet to understand the nuts and bolts of what makes a great post, how to use different content formats, and how to make all the features your friends not your foe.

“Helen’s LinkedIn training should be required by all! She empowered me to discover my voice on here and show personality. Finally getting away from using “LinkedIn as a resume” has been great. And I’ve been able to better connect and share with so many in my industry. It feels like an entirely new and effective tool has been unlocked.”

Posting consistently well-crafted content that pleases the algorithm and your audience.

Turning profile views (from the right people) into conversations, leads and clients.

Embracing all the features that Linkedin has to offer … attracting, nurturing and compelling the right people to work with you.

Steadily and sustainably growing your network, your visibility and your impact.

As a legal marketer - for over 20 years (GASP!!) - I have supported senior lawyers and legal founders to unlock all that LinkedIn has to offer.

As their primary channel for business development and marketing.

There’s not a single barrier or frustration about marketing in a regulated profession that I haven’t had to overcome myself.

After years of learning how to fit the corporate mould, standing out in this more personal capacity can be uncomfortable.

And of course there's the added discomfort of feeling like you don't have a place in a world that's still far from equal and you're an underrepresented voice. In the face of these challenges, I have built law firms, legal businesses and my own unique personal brand with Linkedin as a key growth tool, from the ground up.

Again and again.

But for me, it’s more than building businesses. It’s about having a voice, creating influence and using your unique insights to build authority. It’s through showing up authentically, creating connection and starting conversation that I found a pathway to purpose.

And you can too.

So let's get into the nitty gritty so you can go ahead and book!

LinkedIn for Legal: The LEVEL UP

A 60 minute training session getting under the bonnet of LinkedIn. We can deliver this in-person or online. As a 1-1 session, or for a team.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

Pink - bright blue bolt

Powering up your LinkedIn profile.

How to grow your network.

How to create engaging content.

Understanding the ins and outs of the algorithm.

What metrics to look at and learn from.

Remember this:

Likes and comments do not a thriving business make.

Comments and engagement does not mean people are going to buy from you.

A viral post does not equal success when success looks different to everyone

There is no secret code to crack.

Only a consistent, targeted approach to sharing the right content with a network full of the right people.

When you know how to make LinkedIn work for you - that approach gets easier and more enjoyable.

So say goodbye to:

A love-hate relationship with Linkedin - fuelled by the frustration and confusion about why one day your post gets loads of traction, then the next day it’s like tumbleweed.

And say hello to:

Using all that Linkedin has to offer to grow your network, creating long-lasting impact and influence in the legal industry.

“I would say that Helen is far and away the best LinkedIn trainer I've seen in action – clearly hugely knowledgeable, content which includes theory and then practical application, relevant for lawyers and others in professional services, and client/audience focused, which is of course key. She's also got a very likeable and engaging delivery style.”
