Building a legal business is hard. Marketing it shouldn't be a mystery.
You've taken the leap. You're building something of your own - a law firm, a legal consultancy, a business that does things differently.
But marketing? That's where it gets complicated.
You know it matters, and you need a plan. But without a background in marketing, it's hard to work out where to start - or see whether what you're doing is working.
That's where Marketing Masterplanning comes in.
What is Marketing Masterplanning?
Marketing Masterplanning is a six-session coaching programme designed specifically for legal founders who want to build their marketing properly from the ground up.
Over the course of the programme, we work through everything together - your purpose, vision and goals; your ideal clients and what they need to hear; your positioning and value proposition; your messaging, content and channels; and a practical roadmap that sets you up for the next twelve to eighteen months.
You don't need to come with a strategy already in place. Most clients come to me with an idea and a lot of questions. We build the answers together. By the end, you'll have a documented marketing strategy and execution plan - something you can act on yourself, brief others with, or use as the foundation for ongoing work together.
"We started working with Helen a few months after founding ClearCube Law because we needed some focus and direction for our marketing. Over the course of 6 sessions, Helen took us through a logical process to identify who we needed to speak to and how best to go about it. We're now have a lovely roadmap that we're working through and feel like we have a good solid plan!"

How does it work?
This isn't a course you work through alone. It's a coaching partnership - structured, supportive, and tailored to where you are and where you want to go.
Who is this for?
Marketing Masterplanning works particularly well if you're:
- A legal founder with an idea, preparing to launch and wanting to get your marketing foundations right before you start.
- Someone leaving a role to set up on your own, and wanting a clear plan to take with you.
- A founder who's been running for a while but never had a proper strategy - and knows it's time to sort that out.
- Ready to invest time and energy in learning how marketing works for your business, not just outsourcing it and hoping for the best.
It's not the right fit if:
It's not the right fit if:
- You're looking for someone to just do your marketing for you
- You want quick tactics without the strategic thinking underneath.
How does this compare to Direction In A Day?
Both cover the same strategic ground - purpose, vision, positioning, messaging, channels, campaigns, roadmap. The difference is pace and format.
Direction In A Day condenses the whole process into a single intensive session. You get a plan quickly and can act on it fast. It suits founders who work better in a focused burst, or who already have a sense of what their business is and just need to get it down on paper.
Marketing Masterplanning works through the same depth across six sessions, usually monthly. It's a longer journey, with more space to develop your thinking as you go - particularly useful if you're still shaping what your legal business is, not just how to market it.
Not sure which fits your situation? Get in touch and we'll work it out together.
